2026.02.16: Happy Valentine's!

this weekend marks not just my first time having met the voices behind a pair of my favorite characters, but also a milestone in my journey with gender.

on saturday, i had told freeman that she had a hand in me coming to terms with what i wanted out of my presentation in gender through how she postured pomni vocally. it was embarrassingly emotional! i don't usually cry in front of people, but i think i needed it because i don't talk about this kind of thing ever even with my close circle.

she was very patient, and she gave me permission to take pictures with her holding the print i wanted her to sign; my own artwork.

the line for kovach's table was incredibly long (go figure, he is a fan favorite and he earned his popularity.) i hadn't really got my thanks to him to marinate because he was timecrunching to get to the airport, but i at least got to tell him so i feel like i did everything i wanted to do at the convention.

in the end, i was able to provide physical gratitudes; they now both own copies of the artwork i had them sign. somewhere out there, i hope my art is hanging on their walls. is it weird to say my biggest dream right now is to design a print for them to autograph for their fans?

also, have you noticed that the wig for jax looks different? i decided to give it a new hairstyle to better frame my face. it may change over the next features of this cosplay. hope you like it.

addressing the fandom babies: do not tap the glass!

maintaining convention etiquette is important; do not involve voice actors or other contributors of tadc (artists, writers, etc.) in the fandom's in-jokes or culture when you are greeting them. jaxpom shippers have had a bad rep of this so i feel it necessary to write such. you could get them in trouble or make them uncomfortable.

these pictures were permitted to be posted with the voice actors' consent respectively.
