if there's a show that meant anything this year, go to this one. this time it was of smaller attendance which means more room to dance and less babies, less armcrossing, and less judgement. 5 stars for the very few minutes of donk and breakcore features tonight lol and great sense of humor from the performers.

this guy was really cool (pun unintended). i think i was the first person to grace upsite (well, besides the organizers) so i was keeping a headcount in at the very beginning. a guy shows up and was shuffling during hexxo even though only a few people including me were there, renting seat at the sides just watching.

i think if you go to any show or rave, you should always dance at least once. however i find it way easier to dance when there's at least one or two other people also doing it, and so do a lot of people.

i hadn't realized that shuffler was to perform after hexxo. someone who can initiate dancing so early is for sure someone who really does more than accept the music. i was really curious about the track lineup that would prepared from this type of guy. i'm like "this guy's energy makes me hopeful for the next 5 hours."

we ended up talking after the show and he knows this footage is posted here. to cool reading this: glazing ahead, lol.

several tracks in cool's set brought me back to my secondary schooling years, of which were the ripe blossomings of my love for uk hardcore. the bitcrushed youtube rip quality of it all could make me cry.

ok so i was getting fatigued early on, but i really did feel like if my body got pumped with a monster redbull jungle juice and energizer bunny spunked in it when this happened. this is where i knew for sure this was my favorite set of the night. masterful gabber, sir.

excellent uptempo and terror features; which i didn't capture tonight but i did get this clip of one of the hardcore techno features in the fix. he's got a great genre diet, listenable on the guy's soundcloud.

of course i dropped everything to go. if you received a free fujochud sticker with this website's address written on it, lucky you.

the first couple sets of the night were good. i didn't know what music they were going to play until getting to the venue btw. if you plan on going to the next one you should expect an even balance of hardstyle, hard techno, nightcore, and jersey club. the nightcore and jersey club stuff aren't really my thing but i stayed to closing set to give the rest of the fujochuds out and to watch the boykissing contest.

this weekend's schedule was packed for me. my morning half-day was spent at delta h con before finishing a 4 hour shift, and i went straight to the 9pm venue to meet up with my friends.

this show is better than the last two ampeds i went to just because there was slightly more gabber in the set.

me and my coworker got to the secret group the earliest, but we got kicked out of the line for on-premise liquor so we decided to nose around any new faces while we finished our drinks. this is the earliest venuecheck i could capture for the first hour of the show.
